Maa Tara Enterprise collects the information on the trial registration form in order to run the trials of the tournament you are registering for, and for no other purpose.
What we collect. Your name, date of birth, mobile number, email address, address and pincode, a profile photograph, one photo identity document and its number, your playing profile, and your payment reference with a screenshot of the payment.
Why we need the identity document. To confirm your age against the tournament cut-off and to confirm at the trial ground that the person who registered is the person who attended.
How it is protected. Your identity number is encrypted before it is stored and is never shown in full on any screen — only its last four digits are displayed. Your identity document and payment screenshot are held in private storage and are opened only by staff whom the organiser has explicitly granted permission, one file at a time, through a link that expires within a minute.
Who can see it. The tournament organiser, and only those staff the organiser has granted access to for this tournament. We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or transfer it outside the organiser's team.
What the fee buys. The registration fee covers your participation in the trials. It is not a selection, and it does not reserve you a place in a team. Selection is decided by the organiser on the basis of trial performance.
How long we keep it. Registration and identity data is retained for the period stated by the organiser, after which it is deleted on request.
Your rights. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Contact the tournament SPOC listed on the tournament page.
Consent. By ticking the consent box you agree to this collection for the purpose described above. You may withdraw consent by contacting the SPOC, though we cannot process your trial registration without it.
